Quarrying activities cause significant effect on the local environment. This study was done to evaluate the effect of quarrying on the inhabitants of Oba-Ile, Akure, Ondo State. Questionnaire and one-on-one interview were conducted to understand the sufferings of the inhabitants due to the various activities involved in quarrying, which had led to various environmental pollution and its accompany effects.
